Qmerit will purchase and install your permanent home charging station, with a dedicated Concierge managing every step in the process for you. That includes any required permitting for your electrical system improvements. Once installation is complete, Qmerit provides you with the peace of mind of a one-year warranty on parts and labor.

Qmerit is Cadillac’s preferred home installation provider that provides LYRIQ customers with access to a nationwide network of pre-qualified, licensed electricians who specialize in EV charging installations. Every electrician within the Qmerit network has undergone a rigorous certification process which includes training, license verification, background checks, and more.
No, only Certified Installers within the Qmerit network are eligible to complete Cadillac LYRIQ installations. Customers who complete an installation outside the Qmerit process are not eligible for the Installation Credit.
Included with your 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ is a dual-level charging cord (240-Volt/7.7 kW* and 120-Volt/1.4kW*). This charging cord allows you to plug into an appliance-style 4 pronged outlet or a standard 3-prong outlet.
*Actual charge times will vary based on battery condition, output of charger, vehicle settings and outside temperature. See the vehicle’s Owner’s Manual for additional limitations.
After you submit your Home Charging Assessment to Qmerit, a local installer will validate your scope of work and provide a confirmed quote. After you accept the installation quote, the installer will apply for permits and schedule your installation. The end-to-end installation timeline depends on your availability, the receipt of your charger, and how quickly your local municipality can issue a permit. You should allow 3-6 weeks to complete the entire installation process.
Cadillac will cover standard installation of Level 2 charging capability for eligible customers, includes installation of a 240V outlet or Level 2 Charging Unit (provided at customer expense) at customer’s primary residence.

No, the credit provided by Cadillac is only applicable toward the cost of installation of a 240V outlet or a customer-provided Level 2 charging station. Level 2 charging station sold separately – contact Qmerit LYRIQ Concierge for details.
