Employees, who are invited to potentially be assigned an electric vehicle based on their job functions, and whose home and electrical infrastructure is compatible with participation requirements, will be approved on an individual basis to receive a Ford Pro™ charging station and home installation through Qmerit and their company’s home installation partner. Approval will be determined through completion of Qmerit’s digital Home Charging Assessment and a validated installation quote provided by a Qmerit certified installer.
Your company will pay one time for a home charger and electric services up to a sponsor limit, specific to your fleet program. If your home assessment quote exceeds this limit, further information will be provided so you can decide how you’d like to proceed.
Home installation is limited to single-family homes and townhomes/duplexes with a dedicated parking space and access to the unit’s electric meter. Rental properties or homes with HOA must receive landlord/HOA approval prior to install. All wiring runs are externally mounted and visible to homeowner. Costs associated to drywall, stucco, plaster, concrete or any other repairs to walls, ceilings, or floors if penetration is required for wiring runs are not included in the Qmerit home install quotes. See your company’s fleet guidelines for more specific details.
To protect our certified installers, no asbestos or lead paint may be present in the home and at risk of disturbance.
The Ford Pro AC Charging Station 11.5 kW or 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro hardwire station with a 25-foot charging cable is the approved charger for your fleet program. The charging station will be wall-mounted to the nearest secure location on an interior or exterior garage wall based on your preference.

You will also be provided a Qmerit Concierge who will assist you throughout the home installation process. The Qmerit Concierge will validate your company’s approval of the installer’s quote, and notify you when it is time to accept the quote and schedule the installation.
Your Qmerit Concierge will review your Home Charging Assessment, validate the installation quote provided and will seek approval from your company on your behalf. You will be notified by your Qmerit Concierge if you’re approved for the home installation benefit.
Your Qmerit Concierge will notify you of your approval status after reviewing your home charging assessment and installation quote. If you are not approved, your company will decide to keep you in your current vehicle or assign a different non-electric vehicle.

Activation of the charging station and connection to your home Wi-Fi network is optional for your own benefit to monitor the charge station. Wi-Fi access to the charge station is available for select Ford Pro™ charging stations via the Ford Pro™ Telematics Drive App, including the 80-amp Ford Charge Station Pro. Charging events may be monitored via the Ford Pro™ E-Telematics service if utilized by your company, to support reimbursing you for energy expenses. E-Telematics uses vehicle data, meaning that connecting the charge station to Wi-Fi is not required.
To gain access to the Ford Pro™ Telematics Drive App, your company must have vehicles enrolled in Ford Pro™ E-Telematics and activate the Ford Pro™ Telematics Drive App as a service. To be invited as a user in the Drive App, ask your fleet vehicle manager to add you as a Drive App user.
