It’s the most exciting transformation of our time, and we’re proud to be at the forefront. Qmerit connects stakeholders like electric vehicle (EV) makers, technology leaders and service providers to home and business owners to make going electric easier for everyone.
Our turnkey installation services are simplifying the switch to EVs and other energy transition technologies. And while the electrification movement is relatively young, our team’s legacy goes back 25 years.
In that time, we’ve worked to perfect our processes and technology platform—highlighted by the Qmerit Contribution Index®. It’s our scoring system for skilled trade workers and material suppliers, created to maintain the highest standards for service quality and efficiency.
It all began in 1996 with FieldCentrix Inc.—founded by Tracy K. Price, and born out of his energy efficiency company Mesa Energy Systems Inc. FieldCentrix launched a trailblazing digital platform for managing mobile workforces and ensuring service excellence in the skilled trades.
Fast-forward two decades. After growing and evolving through various acquisitions and rebrands, Qmerit spun out from Fortune 500 company ABM Industries in 2016. Along the way, our leadership team established a successful track record they continue to grow.
By 2022, our network of electricians and other field service providers had completed over 269,000 EV charging installations across the U.S. and Canada. We decided to build on that success by expanding into Europe—fueled by requests from our auto, EVSE and fleet partners.
Qmerit is now fully operational in the U.K., with over 450,000 EV charger installations completed globally. By the fourth quarter of 2024, we’ll be operational in Switzerland, Sweden and Norway as well—and we’ll continue our expansion into major European EV markets in 2025.
